Spiritual Formation - More Opportunities

Life Groups

A Life Group is a gathering of people who meet regularly to encourage and support one another in their spiritual journey. Small groups are a place to do life together: living, learning, eating, playing, and resting together. We consider Life Groups to be one of the most important ways to experience connection and community at River Run Christian Church. Through a Life Group, you are able to learn the names behind the friendly faces you meet on Sunday and share in your spiritual journey with others, encouraging one another as you live, learn and grow together and with God. God doesn’t want any of us to be left to walk alone, we were meant to do life together. That is why River Run is serious about community and why we encourage everyone to become a part of a River Run Small Group.

Community Outreach

Jesus in His inaugural address on that hillside by the Sea of Galilee said, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Mission 516 is River Run’s ongoing effort to make service to our local community part of our DNA in order to bring praise and glory to God. Our next Outreach date is April 17, 2010.

Discover River Run Class

What does membership means to me? We have planned this three hour course designed to help the attendee understand who our church is and what we believe and teach. This course is required for membership.

At River Run Christian Church all that we do can be summarized by the word ‘connect.’ We exist to connect people to Christ and to one another. It is our desire to help every person who has made the decision to join us in this journey to begin or deepen the three most important relationships in their life; their relationship with God, other believers and the world.
